Spring 09 Roadtrip!

Well, we are calling this one the "Freedom Ride". Bobby told dad that he would like to go on a roadtrip after he gets out of the Army on the 9th of April. Well...you don't have to twist Wayne's arm about going on another roadtrip! So....where to go? Well...Just before Bobby went in to the Army....He and his dad took a roadtrip to Tombstone, Arizona....just a quicky....before he left to serve his country...we thought....let's return and celebrate his service and safe return! So...destination set....time set.......and of course.....we knew there might be some who would want to join up......and yes.......his uncle Chip was turning 50 in April... so Chip is in for a celebration too....and yes...he was up for the trip. And one look at Bobby's sister Meleah...and it was clear to see that Meleah and husband Steve are joining in! Gosh this is fun! We are talking a back to basics ride where we camp out and cut costs at every corner! Now....with Steve and Meleah going....that means Grandma Sharon stays home and takes care of grandkids......but grandma and grandpa haven't lived this long without figuring a way to get grandma in the act! So, grandma flies out to Tucson and jumps on the back of the bike for 3 days while we pawn off the kids with other family members unable to join in! Yep.....that is where it stands to date. And what a ride this is going to be! Tombstone, Sedona, Mexican Hat, and places close and inbetween! Aught to be some stories made on this trip!
